Normans Regional Series McLaren Vale Shiraz 2025

Regular price $35.00

Established in 1853, Normans is one of Australia’s oldest wine companies, and the 2025 Regional Series Shiraz perfectly captures the warmth and fruit intensity of McLaren Vale. This series celebrates classic varietals from renowned regions, with this label carrying an impressive pedigree that includes a past Trophy at the Great Australian Shiraz Challenge.

Deep crimson in colour, the wine opens with aromas of ripe blackcurrant, vanilla, and dark spice. The palate is full-bodied and generous, delivering concentrated blackberry, chocolate, and liquorice notes supported by smooth tannins and a long, satisfying finish. It pairs naturally with rich dishes like chargrilled steaks, slow-roasted lamb, or hearty Mediterranean fare.

94 Point Rated & 5 Stars - Russell Gallagher, Vinomasters.
"Dark and expressive, revealing blackberry, plum and black cherry layered with liquorice, dark chocolate and warming spice. The palate is medium to full-bodied with plush dark berry fruit flowing through the entry before fine tannins provide structure and shape. Layers of blackberry, mocha and pepper spice build through the mid-palate with excellent persistence, while balanced acidity keeps the wine fresh and composed. A generous and flavour-packed Shiraz showcasing McLaren Vale richness and approachability."

92 Point Rated - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit.
"It's sweetly ripe and fragrant with blackberry, thyme, star anise, toasted almond, and floral aromas, followed by a fruit-expressive palate offering good weight and silky texture. Tannins are finely polished and well-integrated, offering excellent balance and structure, leading to a lengthy, finely dry finish. At its best: now to 2035. $35.00. www.normanswines.com. April 2026."
