As one of Australia’s oldest and most respected winemaking families, Normans Wines has been crafting premium wine since 1853, when Jesse Norman first planted vines in Adelaide. The Bin Range pays tribute to the historic bin numbers of the Old Clarendon Winery, where generations of acclaimed wines were created in commitment to the tradition of fine winemaking. This release delivers a rich purple-black colour with impressive depth and a beautifully expressive nose of blueberry, plum and violets supported by a gentle touch of well-integrated oak.

On the palate the wine shows all the hallmarks expected from classic McLaren Vale Shiraz -juicy blueberry, ripe plum and raspberry layered with violets, chocolate and blackberry, adding further dimension and flavour intensity. The tannin structure melts seamlessly into the underlying oak, giving a soft, supple and deliciously lingering finish that reflects the pedigree and craftsmanship behind the wine, continuing the strong standard set by the previous vintage, which was 93-Point Rated by Australian Wine Showcase.

This style shines with chargrilled rib-eye steak, slow-braised lamb shanks, gourmet sausages, mushroom risotto, hard cheeses such as aged cheddar, or dark chocolate with berry undertones.
