2011 Pinot Gris
Colour
Pale straw with light green tinge
Bouquet
Fresh Lime, Orange and Passionfruit aromas.
Palate
Crisp and refreshing with tingly acidity and ripe citrus flavours of lemon, lime and kiwi fruit which follow through to the finish.
Winemaking
Harvested in the cool of the night before the extreme heat wave occurred late in ripening season. The fruit was crushed quickly to separate the clear juice from the skins. The Wine went through cool fermentation, and then carefully filtered and bottled to retain all the appealing fruit flavours.
Cellaring
Made to drink upon release while the fruit is at its most fresh and vibrant, but will reward shot term cellaring.
